Within the program of the presentation of the Adelbert-von-Chamisso Award, Ukrainian-born Marjana Gaponenko, who won the prize this year, will read from her novel “Who is Martha?” – a tragicomical hymn to life and a speech fireworks at its best.

Furthermore the winners of the advancement award Matthias Nawrat and Anila Wilms will read from their works. Matthias Nawrat won the award for his subtle novel about two indecisive people in their late twenties (“We two alone”) and Anila Wilms was awarded the prize for her fantastic political thriller from a fascinating country (“The Albanian oil”).
